Lucca bike tour
Either because much of the historic centre is closed to traffic or because the town nestles in a valley, the means of transport the inhabitants of Lucca prefer and use the most is the bike! Without it, everything seems complicated, far, inaccessible, hard… We use the bike to go to school, to work, to the bank, to the market…; it’s very practical and it can be parked everywhere! Behaving like real Lucca residents on our bikes, we will reach and discover the most typical places in town, and the less famous too, to get a real feeling of this beautiful city! The Renaissance walls, Piazza Napoleone with Palazzo Ducale, the house where the artist Puccini was born, Piazza del Duomo and the ancient Roman amphitheatre are just some of our riding destinations.
