What makes Florence special? What has Florence got that no other town in Tuscany has?

It’s the cradle of the Renaissance! Some of the people who lived in Florence in the 15th and 16th century are: the Medici Family, Masaccio, Brunelleschi, Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raffaello…I feel dizzy just thinking about it! They not only lived in Florence but left their creative heritage in the churches, buildings, sculptures and paintings we can still admire today.
